The Kalinin in 1/700 by Trumpeter was a very enjoyable build for me. Its a huge ship for a Cruiser over 800 feet long and I think very impressive looking. Painting and masking the decks for paint was a bear, as was some of the tiny PE but all in all I am happy with the results. My next ship modeling project will be a 1/700 IJN ship.Hopefully I get to it and get it done before Fall.
